Getting started

I should be studying right now. It is Saturday evening and I decided to stay at home in order to get some work done. Just, I'm feeling a bit lazy, and finally decided to start with the blog thing.

I must admit that I'm copying the idea from my sister. She stayed three months in Ecuador and wrote amazing stories in her blog. So, when some of you asked for periodic e-mails with news from my next trip, I knew it had to be another blog. Just, I don't know how this thing will evolve. I may not have so many stories to tell, I may get bored of writing, or I may even find out that you lost the interest in reading. But of course it could also well be that I get excited with it, that a lot of interesting things happen to me, and that you keep sending me lots of feedback. We'll see how it goes, but please do let me know if you are still with me.

Finally, one comment about the language. I will be posting the messages in English, but feel free to add comments in Spanish, Galician, French, Portuguese or even Dutch if it is easier for you.
